With 100 beds spread over 8 rooms in our main venue and three additional chalet-type accommodation our facility has an Outdoor Education / Christian Camping / large youth group orientation with double and single bunks and 6 – 9 beds in a room. There are also two separate smaller rooms with a double and a singe bunk in each.

Flat Wood has an en-suite shower/basin/toilet, and Flat Green has the same in two rooms accessible from outside. The spacious 225m2 hall is ideal for large meetings, and the fireplace warms up the wet or cold days! A separate attractive dining room adjoins the main kitchen.

Married to Helen (“Always marry a good cook…”). Loves Helen’s jams, tells loooong stories, is great at doing a Texan accent. Stan is now doing a sterling job at running the whole place! The most important news that Stan has on his heart is that…Forest Way is alive and well and is flying into the future!
Helen Dugmore Caterer & Forest Life Promoter
Married to Stan (“marry a good man…”). Oversees the kitchen and catering and housekeeping at Forestway. Helen has an amazing ability to make any place look like home. Helen’s enthusiasm for our beautiful forest is more than infectious and she loves to tell you all about it. If you have not yet had the priviledge of tasting her amazing jams, then you are seriously missing out!


Graham Marshall Programme Director
Graham is now well on the way to becoming part of the Forest Way furnishings as Programme Director. He and his family have just recently moved off site into Stutterheim to try out the “townies” lifestyle! You might be pleased to know that he does still love anything outdoors, especially kayaking and riding his mountain bike, and is still brilliant at making very convincing sound effects

“Tshomi” has done it all! Give her a call and she will be able to tell you exactly what you need to know! Zoli will make your booking, send you the forms, sort out the money and even take you through the obstacle course… if you need it!

“Mama” Noms – our mom to thousands! She can make anything taste scrumptious and will have you begging for seconds. Meals are always a highlight when Mama Noms is around! If your idea of camp food leaves you scheming how to smuggle in extra supplies… Mama Noms will quickly change your mind and your waist size!
